Hercules Trophy US 2016 announced

It’s that time of the year again: we proudly announce the next Hercules Trophy in the US.

September 28th it is!

That’s 4 weeks earlier than last year and almost guarantees perfect weather. And there’s even more amazing news: Hercules Trophy and American Cancer Society joined forces and we renamed the coolest corporate team challenge to:

The American Cancer Society

Hercules Trophy

What will change?

  • Nearly half of the team registration fees will be donated to the American Cancer Society
  • On top of that, the teams will be challenged to raise funds for the American Cancer Society through their public page
  • The team that raises the most will become The Kindest Team. Who beats Zodiac Aerospace who won the award the past years?

But the great news doesn’t stop there.

We will move the Hercules Trophy village to a grand historical setting with the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Manhattan skyline as backdrop: The CRRNJ Terminal at Liberty State Park.

From 1892 through 1954, the CRRNJ Terminal stood with the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to unfold one of this nation’s most dramatic stories: the immigration of northern, southern and eastern Europeans, among others, into the United States. After being greeted by the Statue of Liberty and processed at Ellis Island, these immigrants purchased tickets and boarded trains at the Terminal that took them to their new homes throughout the United States. Learn more about the CRRNJ’s history, visit the Historic CRRNJ Train Terminal site.

Last but not least, before we forget, the cash bar will change to open bar.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up your team and get ready! Take advantage of the early-bird pricing until July 1st.
